Organic Sun-dried Tomatoes in Olive Oil will make a great snack or appetiser. Aromatic and rich in flavour, they are a great addition to salads, sauces, bruschettas, pizza, soups and sandwiches.
How are dried tomatoes made?
Tomatoes dried naturally in the Mediterranean sun. Traditionally, they are spread over large sheets and sprinkled with a bit of salt to keep insects away. Thanks to natural temperature the tomatoes and their taste are well preserved. Later, they are checked individually and rehydrated in water. Then they are put in jars with extra virgin olive oil and basil according to a traditional recipe.
No preservatives. No artificial colours and flavourings.
