Description
Jumbo Oats are whole rolled oat flakes – big, chewy and slow-cooking, at our lowest everyday price.
Rolled in the UK from whole oat groats, they deliver 11.9g of protein and 10g of fibre per 100g, including beta-glucan, the soluble fibre that occurs naturally in oats. The thick flake holds its shape, which is exactly what you want in overnight oats, granola and flapjacks.
Best for
- Overnight oats that stay pleasantly chewy
- Batch-baking granola and flapjacks
- A heartier porridge (simmer around 8 minutes)
- Stocking the breakfast cupboard on a budget
FAQ
Jumbo or porridge oats? Jumbo oats are the whole rolled groat – larger, chewier and slower to cook. If you want a quick, creamy porridge or oats to mill into flour for baking, our Porridge Oats are the better fit.
What about organic? The flake is the same style; Organic Jumbo Oats carry organic certification at a higher price, while this listing is the value option.
Suitable for coeliacs? No – oats are naturally gluten free, but these are not certified uncontaminated. Choose Organic Gluten Free Jumbo Oats instead.
Cook with double the quantity of liquid to oats and a pinch of salt – milk for extra creaminess.
Available in 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 3kg and 25kg packs – the 25kg sack suits cafés, bakeries and refill stores. Also available as a Stock & Prep 1kg value bag.
