Description
Organic almonds, blanched and milled
We mill our Organic Almond Flour from organic Spanish (sometimes American or Australian) blanched almonds to a fine flour (courser than wheat flour) — the grind that gives macarons their smooth shell and almond cake its moist, tender crumb.
Naturally gluten-free and low in carbs: around 6g protein and 3.8g fibre per 30g, plus the vitamin E and magnesium almonds are known for.
Best for:
- Macarons, financiers, frangipane and almond cake — the fine grind matters here
- Gluten-free brownies, cookies and crumble toppings
- Keto and low-carb pancakes, muffins and pizza bases
- Thickening smoothies and porridge for extra protein

Why Should I Get Organic Almond Flour?
Organic Almond Flour adds richness and complex flavour to a range of recipes, from meats and fish to sweets. Ground Almonds will give baked goods a moist, dense crumb, though they will be slightly more fragile, so be sure to let baked goods rest for a short period of time outside the oven, before attempting to turn them out of their pans.
What Ground Almonds do not do is, surprisingly, add a lot of almond flavour, at least not an overwhelming amount. This means it's perfectly reasonable to use Ground Almonds in place of refined white flour in your recipes.
Still though Almonds Are Almonds and regardless of preparation these are still rich source of fatty acids, which help to reduce the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), and promote healthy skin and hair. Reducing cholesterol only accounts for half of the almonds nutritional arsenal as they are a fantastic source of many vitamins and minerals, such as manganese, copper and Riboflavin which support energy production and metabolic rate.
Almonds also contain two vital brain nutrients, riboflavin and L-carnitine which are often difficult to get from other dietary sources. The consumption of almonds is a highly recommended way of increasing your intake of these brain Nutrients.
