This variety of nut butter - Almond - is unique and yet highly versatile. Almond nut butter can be used as a dip, spread, in a sauce and baking but it's secret yet brilliant use is to make Almond Drink! All it takes is one or two teaspoons of this almond nut butter mixed with a glass of water and you have yourself an additive free dairy alternative! And the only difference between the Smooth and Crunchy varieties is that the crunchy has broken nut bits added in to give it that delicious crunchy texture.
While there are a lot of similarities between Almond and Peanut butters, the taste of the Almond is enhanced by the light roasting so you really get those specific earthy and nutty tones. Almond butter is high in monounsaturated fats, calcium, potassium, iron and manganese. It’s considered a good source of riboflavin, phosphorus, and copper, and an excellent source of vitamin E, magnesium, and fibre.
Nutural World Nut Butter contains one ingredient only and that is 100% of the nut used in the product, and thus is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The nuts are lightly roasted to enhance their taste and bring out their delicate aroma. The milling process uses traditional stone-based mills to generate the most uniform paste and keep the temperature during the milling process to the lowest possible. Since no emulsifier is added, it is quite normal for the oil in these products to separate to the top of the jar. Simply stir it back in. Once opened, storing the product in the refrigerator will slow down the separation process and the product will keep for up to three months.
