What Is Oat Bran?
The bran is the small, hard, outermost layer of an oat, that is especially healthy, but accounts for only a small proportion of the oat as a whole.
Why Should I Get Oat Bran ?
Oat bran is a good source of protein, calcium, iron, thiamine, phosphorus, riboflavin, magnesium, and zinc.
Oat bran is also a rich source of soluble fibre.
Instructions For Use:
For one serving, combine 1 cup of water/milk and a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Slowly stir in 1/3 cup of oat bran and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for about 3 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
