What Is Coarse Himalayan Salt?

So what actually is the makeup of this salt? - The crystals which formed naturally within the earth are made up of 85. 62% sodium chloride and 14. 38% other trace minerals, on average these minerals are sulphate, magnesium, calcium, potassium, bicarbonate, bromide, borate, strontium, and fluoride (in descending order of quantity). It is because of these minerals, that Himalayan pink salt carries a number of healthy benefits with its use.
