This warming healthy beverage is perfect for cold autumn and winter evening.

1/2 tsp organic ground turmeric

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (TRUE)

1 pinch black pepper

1/2 tsp of ground ginger

2 tsp maple syrup or agave nectar

1 tsp vanilla extract

500 ml (2 cups) almond milk
Directions
Add the spices, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a small saucepan.
Add the milk to the pan and gentle whisk to combine as you heat the milk for around 5 minutes. Be careful not to boil the milk.
Pour the golden milk into two mugs, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and decorate with star anise.
