Glutinous Rice
Despite the name, glutinous (sticky) rice contains no gluten – it's named for its glue-like texture when steamed, which makes it the foundation of Southeast Asian desserts, dumplings and sticky rice dishes.
Organic black glutinous rice: a striking deep purple-black wholegrain with a nutty flavour – the classic base for black sticky rice pudding with coconut milk and mango.
Organic brown glutinous long rice: the wholegrain version of sticky rice, chewier and more substantial.
Soak before steaming for the best texture. Naturally gluten-free.
