Higher Nature True Food Omega 3 Fish Oil is a triglyceride-form fish oil from sardines, mackerel and anchovies, in bovine gelatine capsules, so it is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Adults take two to three capsules a day with meals; two capsules supply 2000mg of fish oil with 360mg EPA and 240mg DHA, so the 90-capsule pack lasts about 45 days at two a day.
“EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart” (Higher Nature). The label adds: “Beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of at least 250mg of DHA and EPA.” Two capsules provide 600mg of EPA and DHA.
Ingredients: Omega 3 fish oil, capsule shell (bovine gelatine, glycerine), antioxidant (d-alpha tocopherol).
Allergy advice: see ingredients in bold.
